Thursday, September 3rd. - There is - There are revision

Today we are going to review how to talk about things that are around us. Let’s watch this funny video and see how many monkeys there are.

It is important to use “there is” when we talk about one thing, or when we talk about something we can not count.  (For example: “There is one triangle” or “There is red paint”. 


In the same way, we say “there are” when we can count the things we talk about.  (For example: “There are many stars in the sky”).
