 wear your mask

Tuesday, August 18th

Good afternoon children!

How was your long weekend? I would like to know everything about it!

Today we are going to read this beautiful poem about shapes.

Are you ready?

Today is Tuesday, August 18th.

Today I feel  ____________________.

“Shapes All Around” Poem

Once you finish reading the poem, take your copybooks and write today’s date and today’s title.

Then, underline all the names of shapes you find in the poem-

After that, choose your favorite shape and draw a picture of your favorite object.

Finally, write one sentence telling us what colour it is, what object it is, and then what shape it has.

For example:

“This is my grey cushion. It has the shape of a square”

or “This is my mom’s yellow mirror. It has the shape of a circle.”

Have fun!
