Wednesday, June 3rd. - Winnie and Wilbur in Space

Good afternoon!

Today we will start reading “Winnie and Wilbur in Space”. 

First of all, let me tell you that we will be reading the book together. This means that you should not read it by yourself. Today we will read pages 1 and 2. But before that, I want to see if you know the vocabulary. So, are you ready? 

We will start by copying the date and title in our copybooks or pieces of paper:

Activity 2: Read pages 1 and 2 of the book. Here I leave you the digital pdf version of the book “Winnie and Wilbur in Space” in case you don’t have it at home. REMEMBER WE WILL READ IT TOGETHER, NO PEEKING! 

Activity 3: Expand your imagination and let’s fly! 

Write down in the copybook, or in your piece of paper what will happen or what you think will happen after Winnie says “Abracadabra” on page 2. Do you think her spell will work? Will it fail? Do you think she will have a spacesuit on or will the magic spell take her with only her clothes? Will Wilbur be with her? (Remember not to peak! This is an imagination task!)
